INTERCEPTOR High Security Mode
The same Cell Block, with fewer freezes and less forgiveness.
High Security Mode is INTERCEPTOR’s hard toggle, not a new map. You still escape Chapter 1: The Cell Block, but cameras, reaction windows, and especially control-center disabling stop being a blank check. Update 1 added a limit on that disable because the community asked to be allowed to freeze the floor, then immediately proved it deleted the puzzle.
Clear default first. Use getting started and hacking until the phone overlay is muscle memory. Then come here.
What actually changes
- Control-center disables are budgeted. Spend them on a crossing you cannot shutter, not on “comfort.”
- Laptop minigames feel tighter. Launch clips complain about luck on a machine in the security cluster. That luck is mostly timing plus RNG; Quick Restart is the intended answer, not a script.
- Detection while hiding is easier to misread. Watch the extra detection icon from Update 1.
- Chase (Update 12) still applies. High Security plus chase is how people decide the demo is unfair. It is fairer than a pure instant fail, but you cannot outrun a whole wing.
Mode ranking against extras lives on the difficulty tier list. High Security campaign is the real hard mode. INTERSWEEPER High Security is a board badge, not this toggle — see INTERSWEEPER.
Route rules that survive the limit
- Grab only commander credentials, specialist credentials, and east entrance access unless you still need the snore file. Greed is a wipe.
- Load
CommanderSnoringNoise1.mp3before you ever look at the east pair. You will not have jam budget to invent a second plan. - Shutters over freezes. Specialist credentials are the High Security movement tech.
- Donuts for the one roamer you cannot time. Do not treat them as a third control-center.
- Phone down before every doorway. Overlay tunnel vision is the silent killer.
If a camera you remember from a YouTube video is gone, skip the hunt. Patch drift is real; the full guide video comments even call out a missing cam.
Undetected on High Security
It is possible. Community videos exist, including the one embedded in this article, and commenters who called it luck later posted sub-five-minute clears. Possible does not mean comfortable. Combine this page with the canonical undetected habits: no witnesses, no panic chase, no extra laptop tabs.
Fail a laptop? Quick Restart. Do not stand up from the chair into a cone.
When not to queue High Security
- First session on mobile (binds fight you; see controls).
- When you still do not know which three files matter.
- When you came here looking for a code that skips the mode. There is none — codes.
- When the experience is down. Hard mode does not exist if the hiatus is still on.
Play High Security to prove you understood the phone, not to farm a feeling of “endgame gear.” INTERCEPTOR has no gear. The flex is a clean end screen with the version number and a badge.
For device priority inside this mode, the hacking tools tier marks jam as lower than snore + shutters, which is the opposite of a Watch Dogs sandbox instinct. Trust that ranking here.
One more High Security habit: do not scout “just one extra folder” because the room feels empty. Empty is the goal. The laptop minigame is where commenters said they got lucky; luck is a retry tax you pay in seconds, not a reason to install a script. If two retries fail on the same machine, change your approach order — credentials first, snore second — instead of mashing the same minigame.
If chase starts, the hard-mode attempt is already noisy. Quick Restart is cheaper than a heroic loop through security forces you cannot outrun. Save the cinematic chase for the extras tab after you own a clean end screen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers for stealth, hacking, and the 2026 hiatus.
How do I beat INTERCEPTOR High Security?
Budget control-center disables, take only the three credentials plus the snore file, and use shutters instead of freezes.
Is High Security possible undetected?
Yes. The embedded run and later commenters prove it. Pair this page with the undetected guide.
Why did jam get weaker?
Update 1 capped control-center disabling in this mode so the puzzle still exists.
Does INTERSWEEPER use this same toggle?
INTERSWEEPER has its own High Security badge on the board. It is related, not identical. See the minigame guide.
