INTERCEPTOR Chase System Test
An extras-tab AI sandbox — not Chapter 2, not a combat mode.
Chase System Test is the extra Y3550R shipped on 3 July 2024, before chase was wired into Chapter 1 on 30 July (Update 12). It is a stealth AI playground so a sighting can become a pursuit instead of an instant cartoon fail. This page is the missing extra-mission file. Campaign application still lives in the Cell Block walkthrough. Ranking versus other modes: difficulty. Parent: guides hub.
There is no separate public chase-test tutorial video worth embedding. Official art for the extra is the split hallway still used as this page’s hero. Use controls for binds and security forces for who is chasing you.
What the extra is for
The developer’s joke in Update 12 is the design doc: a guard who just watched you lock someone up should not omnisciently end the chapter in one frame. Chase makes Chapter 1 consistent with later chapters that were planned. The Test extra lets you feel that AI without spending a Canonical attempt.
Open it from the extras tab (the tab itself arrived in Update 6, empty at first). It is not INTERSWEEPER. It is not a minesweeper board. It is not a co-op raid. Friends belong on INTERSWEEPER.
How to use it as practice
- Bind Quick Restart first.
- Play default campaign once so you know cones. Then enter the Test extra.
- Get seen on purpose. Break line of sight. Hide. Learn whether the AI holds a doorway or peels.
- Do not take that lesson into a Canonical run as a plan. If chase starts there, the badge is dead.
- Return to Chapter 1 and play as if chase is a consolation prize, not a route. Stealth routes ranks chase-recovery as D-tier thinking.
High Security plus chase is how people decide the demo is unfair. It is fairer than a pure instant fail and still not a shooter. You have no gun bind. Hacking remains the toolkit: shutters, snore, donuts, intercept.

What this extra will not do
- Skip east entrance files.
- Unlock Canonical Playthrough I.
- Replace mobile bind practice.
- Survive a noclip script.
If the extras tab is missing, you are on a pre-Update 6 build or the experience is down. Check the end-screen version Update 1 added. Then stop looking for Chapter 2 inside a test hallway. Chapter 2 was promised as future campaign, not as this tile.
Practice chase here, then go spend a real run on badges or a faster Cell Block. That is the whole extra. One more practice rule: if the Test extra feels empty, you are probably on an early extras tab. Update 6 added the tab before the toys. Update 12 is when Chapter 1 learned to chase. Play the extra only to learn peel and hide. Then spend your real attention on badges and a clean faster route that still respects the east pair. Chase is kindness. It is not a new campaign chapter hiding in a hallway.
